While praying and seeking direction for my next steps, in a place of prayer, I saw a police officer navigating traffic at the crossroad. The weather conditions were not pleasant, and there was much traffic that needed to be regulated. The police officer was holding his hand, indicating for me to stop, while his eyes were keeping attention on the busy traffic coming from the opposite direction. There was a sense of an imminent crash if drivers were not carefully guided by the police traffic control. Many were rushing, not paying attention to the unfavorable weather conditions and traffic regulating signs.
There is a sense of urgency for many to continue moving in the direction they feel their life and ministry path is leading them. It is important to be mindful of the "traffic signs". It is a good moment to pause and patiently wait for the signal to proceed, ensuring the timing is right before moving forward. Avoid getting caught up in the hurried pace of those around you. Refrain from hastily seizing sudden opportunities and be cautious of empty promises.

When you find yourself swept up in the fast-paced traffic, choosing to simply follow along may result in setbacks rather than progress. Proceeding without guidance can cause rifts in relationships that are not properly aligned and impede your journey towards your next life and ministry destination. It's important to pause, stay vigilant, remain prayerful, and pay attention to the warning signs along your path.
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” - Ephesians 6:18
